Banana Bread
BANANA BREAD
Ingredients
2 cups ripe bananas, mashed (about 4 bananas)
1 cup butter softened
1 ½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 ½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
¼ cup + 1 Tbsp sour cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix the baking soda and the sour cream in a small bowl.
Using a mixer combine the sugar and butter and beat until smooth.
Add the eggs and beat until blended
Add the flour and baking powder
Add the bananas
Add the sour cream
Pour batter into loaf pans. Cook for 60 minutes if using a 9x5 loaf pan. Cook for 35 minutes if using a small loaf pan.
