- 2 cups ripe bananas, mashed (about 4 bananas)
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup + 1 Tbsp sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix the baking soda and the sour cream in a small bowl.
- Using a mixer combine the sugar and butter and beat until smooth.
- Add the eggs and beat until blended.
- Add the flour and baking powder.
- Add the bananas.
- Add the sour cream.
- Pour batter into loaf pans. Cook for 60 minutes if using a 9x5 loaf pan. Cook for 35 minutes if using a small loaf pan.
