Horseradish-Turnip Puree

This is a flavorful substitute for ordinary mashed potatoes.
This puree may be made ahead and reheated.
Bring a saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil.
Cook the turnips and potatoes for 6 to 8 minutes, until tender. Drain thoroughly and place in a food processor with the butter, sugar, and horseradish. Puree for 1 minute, until very smooth. Taste and season with salt.
